Launched in everett at 6am and it was a little easier today with the tide in our favor nice and high.... cruised up past the float plane to the sand bar opening ... not to much going on went up about a mile and navigated through had to be 100 boats or so anchored up and started casting/jigging with a pink ledhead jig and another person had a buzz bomb also pink with a red hook well we hooking into 6 fish right away lost about 20 these fish look great nice and bright and fight so well ended up slowing down when the tide dropped to a neg. at that point we decided to navigate the river to spot out logs that are usually hidden under a small about of water (nice to know your surroundings) scouted about a mile up and then a mile down by that time had a nice lunch with some smoked pink salmon compliments of my buddy adam (thank you) snohomish river :) tide started coming in and amazing just amazing the pinks rolling everywhere heck it didnt matter what you threw in the water they were taking it ..

on a poor note got stopped by fish and game and because a pole we were using earlier had a line skimming the water i mean skimming it wasnt even an inch under water we got a ticket for more that 1 pole for 1 person 80 bucks (ouch) oh well now we know to completely put our gear away and i mean completely ....saw them checking pretty much everyone from the shore people to the boats guess they gotta do their job but i sure do hate it ...

all in all a great day on the river and a beautiful washington life
