Caught my limit today at the snoho using pink jigs this is my first limit using jigs and i'm realizing why they are awesome to use. I use to only use buzz bombs in the lower snoho and never considered using a jig.....it was twitch twitch reel...repeat and BAM fish on...anytime we saw a school come we hooked into them. Sweet day especially the river is only 7 minutes away. Usually i drive to the confluence of the snoho and limit out there with dick nites but was glad that i didn't have to drive far....i went on my lunch break at work too...THIS HAS GOTTO BE THE GOOD LIFE!!!
The pinks are definatley running good right now on the sno humpish river! Looking forward to fishing the stilly this weekend after the opener...gotta feeling it's gonna be a zoo out there.
I learned how to catch limits by watching a few guys who were catching fish every few minutes. Good way to learn is stop fishing and watch the guys who are catching fish and notice the small differences that they do. Copy them and bam fish on....that's what I did today....the nice guy gave me one of his jigs and I limited out in half hour. So if you ever see me out there catching fish i'll have no problems giving you a tip and a jig. Awesome that it was on the bank fishing too...no need for a boat except to get away from crowds
