Another great day fishing the Snohomish River. Two limits came in about 3 hours due to the difficulty hooking these fish. We would get them on, play them, then they would spit the hook. Ultimately we did land 8 fish including one 8.2 pounds.

So true Nate. One of our members was questioning my reports regarding these 8+ pound pinks that are in the river this go around. So I decided to take a picture of this nice 8.2 pounder that I caught this morning for his viewing pleasure. Lots of much bigger fish running this year and it's been a blast.

Man your hammerin them Dave. Great job I especially like that you followed yesterdays chatter up with the pic you posted today. I didn't doubt for a moment because I have seen first hand that they are definitley bigger this year, feisty too. I got a chuckle out of this. Thanks.

there's always haters.Those guys SUCK!!!There are a number of fish in the 6-8 pound class this run.ignore those idiots.Nice Catch!

yes, they are much bigger this year. on our last trip out, we caught one at the shipwreck that was 9lb 4oz. My 7 yearl old son landed it :)
