9/13/2011 12:03:00 AMI'm not too seasoned myself, as I only started targeting salmon in '09. My approach as of late has been fishing a #1 50/50 Dick Nite with a 6ft leader, attached to a sliding weight drift fishing rig. Cast up stream a little, and let it sink a little bit. Then reel in as slow as possible. A lot of bites come during or after your rig passes your 12 o' clock. With the nets in, I'd try further up around the Kent area. Do some walking, and you'll be able to find some honey holes away from the crowds.

9/13/2011 12:41:00 AMOoohhh... I wanted to hit the green too. I was taking a couple of seniors fishing today, but one was in a wheelchair and I couldn't find a wheelchair friendly section. Took them bass fishing as a result, but I really had hoped to find a spot to show them the joy of landing a salmon or two. Nice job btw.
