Got tierd of listening to the video games and music being played in the livingroom and also in my sons room, so I told the boys I needed to go to Walmart....... I knew they wouldnt go since they hate going there with me so ...... I knew I'd have a few hours to go fishing. ( Walmart bag with misc. items were already in the trunk along with my fishing gear.... LOL ) Got to the usuall spot about 430pm and fished for about 1- 1/2 hours. And believe it or not the timing was crazy ! Didn't catch any pinks at all..... there were 3 of us fishing and we all caught only coho ......in a matter of 30 minutes! (must have been a school passing by). Any how, I was able to get the smaller one seasoned and directly into the oven and steaked up the other without the boys even knowing where I actually went. So that Walmart bag stayed in my trunk for another day of fishing in peace..... *** Make sure your hooks are sharp and tied tight ! Have fun and fish safe ! And lets help keep our rivers clean and pick up any trash that has been left behind by others..... Thank you !

Naw, my boys are 25 and 23.....they never have been interested in fishing. Obviously they take after my Ex...(and thier dads side of the family-where thier free time revolves around the tv and video games.) not mine ! they just came down from Everett to visit (or shall I say hybernate in the back bedroom ect) for the weekend. I grew up in a family that fished at any available chance, and also enjoying it as a family. Tried many times to get them interested but No Way ! SAD I KNOW ! so mom goes whenever-wherever possible. Its days like this that makes it worth while. (just need to find others who dont like to fish by them selves (not very safe to do, and the compitition is also fun ). Always up for learning new techniques, meeting new people and areas around here to go fishing, Ive only lived in the Renton / Kent area for about 3 years now, I grew up in Tulalip / Marysville / Everett, WA and I dont know too many of you locals yet....... I was close to Tukwilla when I came across the school of Coho that day.

That is very cool that fishing is in your blood. I've only caught a silver in the salt to date so I really look forward to catching my first one on the green soon. Being in Renton puts you within striking distance of the the Puy, Green, and Snoqualmie rivers. See you out there.
