Hit the upper Snoho in search of Coho on Sunday with Curado and another buddy. We plugged from the bridge upstream. The morning started out pouring down rain, but cleared up after only about a half an hour of that nonsense. Good news is the weather kept EVERYONE at home, there was not a single boat fishing this stretch most of the morning! We made several passes through the area and hooked a nice fish on the first pass down near the side channel, unfortunately it came unglued, pretty sure it was a Silver. Saw a few silvers rolling, some real nice ones too, and tons of humpys like always. Hooked humpys on both a K11 Kwikfish and a Brad's Wiggler, lol. Fished until noon and then did some C&R humpy fishing just for fun for about a half an hour before heading home. Spoke to one other boat targeting coho, they had hooked and lost one down lower. They are starting to show in catchable numbers, I am hoping this rain doesn't just send them flying right through the system and upriver.
Time will tell, good luck out there.
