Got to the river around 9AM, and got into some fish. Hooked a bright hen right off the bat and bonked her. A few cast later, hooked into a buck silver, and bonked him. Man I thought, this is gonna be a quick trip. I then proceeded to hook and lose 6 CHROME BRIGHT pink hens. Took some time to shake it off and check my gear over, and found the culprit to be dull hooks. After changing out my spoon for a brand new one, I went on to hook 3 more hens and was able to land them. Right afterwards, the bite died. It didn't come on until 5PM, though there were fish rolling the whole time. Right around 5PM, I hooked into another Silver, and it went ballistic. After a few short runs, it decided to make a last ditch break to some logs arcoss the river and proceeded to hang me up. After waiting a 10 minutes and giving the fish slack, I broke it off to keep on fishing. After tying up a new rig, I hooked up again and bonked my limit fish, which was another hen. Was bummed out about the second silver, but hats off to it. It out smarted me.
