After fishing the salt all morning my buddy Dan from work and I relocated to Langus Park and up river we went for the last few hours of the incoming tide with hope that the pinks might still be cooperative. There were still lots of fish jumping from about the float plane to Snohomish City but they were far less cooperative. We each managed a fish, one buck at 7 pounds and a smaller hen. Both will be smoked today by Dan. As reported in my salt report, Dan managed a nice 7 pound silver and I lost a bigger fish about 40 feet from the boat after it peeled line off the reel like a king which it very well could have been. Pictured is me holding Dan’s silver and our two pinks. We had a great day of fishing but the bite was slow.
