I went out last night for my birthday dinner and passed out in the bar. I was gonna sleep in but my body decided to wake up at 5am this morning. I took that as a sign to go fishing. I was hoping the salmon gods would be kind to me today. I get there around 8 and fished for an hour with two friends and never felt a fish. Didnt see any fish roll either so me friends and I decided to call it a day.

When I was packing up, I noticed that these group of people were landing pinks. Its a spot that I always have overlooked in the past. I thought hey, I might as well give it a shot. To make a long story short, heres what happened next:

Fishing in the rain was on fire today.1 chrome coho, 1 slightly turned coho, 1 jack chrome coho and 2 decent pinks. Released one foul hook coho and three other pinks. Lost numerous fish. All in a span of two hours.

Thanks to the samon gods for three coho. I know the jack coho doesnt look smaller than the other fish, I do know the legal definition of a jack coho as stated in the regs, so please dont call me a poacher.
