I got to the river about 8am for the first time in 2 years. It had changed a little bit. I got 3 humpies that were released in the 2 hours I was there using different colored corky and yarn. I was, of course, hoping for silver but it didn’t happen. I lost lots of gear and slipped and fell so I came home earlier than I was going to because I was sore. It was a nice sunny day and the river visibility was about 5 inches. The CFS was about 200.

Not a bad idea to take it easy a day or two after falling to make sure nothing is too out of whack. Been there. At least something other than snags had you tugging back on the rod and reel.

Yes Knota, I was thankful for those 3 fish. I have to work next 5 days so I am hoping it isn't hurting to bad tomorrow. Sad deal when it hurts to much to fish. Maybe I could have done it if it were sandy and level.

Sorry to hear about the fall but appreciate the report. I think you'll have to show this musky guy the ropes to salmon fishing one day
