Went to the Puyallup Sunday morning, wanted to go Saturday afternoon but that didn't happen. Oh well. I have yet to fish the river in the afternoon. Fished with a pink and black corky combo with pink yarn. Didn't get my first fish until hour two. It was a pink hen, clear body but the head was turning whitish/pink. Let her go. Then about three hours later, hooked into what I think was a silver; fought hard trying to pull my line behind a rock. Got it to the shore and it kicked off. Very nice fish, rolling and jumping as I brought it in. Should have played it a bit longer but I was so shocked at the action that my adrenaline kicked in. I need to get a pair of waders (10.5-11) and a net, anyone looking to loan or sell for cheap? Worth a try, LOL. Nice day as far as weather. I think I will hit it again on the 9th, in the afternoon.
