Went out about 4 PM across from Auburn golf course. Were about 4 people there plus me and a buddy. Started out with spinners, tried pink, gold, copper. Nothing. Went to a Dick Nite, tried black with white back, nothing. Went to corky and yarn, pink, purple, orange, with various colors of corky, nothing. Tried to piss them off with a gold flatfish. No luck. Fish were rolling and jumping all over the place. Couldn't even get a pink to bite. Zombie fish all over. One guy caught a fish on the opposite bank, and one guy snagged on in the fin and let it go. He had one one a little later too but lost it. Overall VERY slow for everyone. I think I have it figured out though. I always go to a place after I read it was hot the day prior. I go and it sucks. So I'm going to go when reports say the prior day sucks, and maybe the next day will be hot.
