Since we had a full day to do some exploring, decided to try the Humpy. I have never been there, but with advice from other posts, we went to the 101 bridge. Had 1 bunp, but nothing, so we went to the bank just past the WDFW. Used eggs that I cured from some of the pinks I caught and after a couple of casts go a nice 8 # silver. First time using eggs, so I was pretty exited. Sent my wife to go get some lunch and got another coho, probably around 11-12 #. Waited for her to return sto get her into the action, but she didn't have any luck. Beautiful day, saw about a half dozen 20-25# kings pulled out. I can't wait to get something like that!! The picture has my fishing partner getting her licks.

Im glad the trip paid off for you, I really want to hit up the humptulips but have really debated making the drive since most likely it will be by myself from the seattle area, nice looking fish you got there too

Careful on letting the dog lick salmon. If there is any blood on the lip and he gets it in him, in about 2-4 weeks he'll get violently ill and can die if not treated with anti-biotics. Keep an eye on it and if the pooch gets sick or loses his appetite, you need to get to the vet and tell them it could be salmon poisoning. Some sort of parasite in the blood.

Brett's Dad is 1000% correct. My Choc. Lab almost died do to this parasite called a Fluke. There was a big article in the paper about it and on the news Sunday morning. Nothing to screw with!!!
