1/8/2012 11:27:00 PMSalmonchaser, I can definatly help you out for fishing the green. Where do you live? i only ask this because some sections of the river are closing soon. My go to fishing spots starts at metzler park, flaming guyser state park, the gorge, and kanasket palmer state park and any where in between.

1/10/2012 8:49:00 AMHey LOCOinthe Brain. Amazing fish, never seen one as bright! I've been fishing Metzler without luck and heard and you mentioned that the river is closing at the end of this month. I grew up in the Green Valley but only began fishing this year. Any advice on where to fish say this weekend would be very helpful. Still trying to get my first Steelhead.

1/10/2012 9:06:00 AMHey Dloney - i would fish the gorge this weekend just up river of flaming geyser but it can be a hike to get to some good lookin fishing spots. If you dont really want to hike to your spot go to kanasket palmer state park where you can drive pretty much up to the fishing holes but if you want to hike from there hike down river from the park to some nice holes . Look at google maps it has really helped me out for finding good spots to fish!
