It was nice to be fishing with Mystical Legend Guide Phil Stephens again. We started about 7am and finished the day about 5. The river started out at 7000cfs and went up to 11000 while we were fishing. I had lots of fun. I used the new reel my son got me for Christmas for the first time and had the first fish on it. We fished in the morning for steelhead then switched to springers. Didn’t get any springers but I came home with my limit of steelhead. The biggest was 32 inches. Phil can get the fish but he couldn’t take a picture on my cell phone camera. Ron had to do that.
The weather report the night before said rain and wind. What we got was sun and a bit of wind. Meaning it was sunny all day and there were gusts of wind that made it hard to drift fish. I was dressed in 3 layers and it got warm! The report said up to 60.
Nice to see Blurock out there fishing.

Toni did not list the bait that worked. Must have used her secret weapon. The homemade Kokanee gear!!!!!

@MotoBoat no bait. Now I should have done that!!! I made a large kokanee type (Bloody Mary) lure in a black color and got my biggest Silver at Sekiu last Sept.
