4/24/2012 7:08:00 PMWe were out there about the same time and boated no fish and had no bite's either. Talked to folks in their boats and they had no luck either. No bites, seen no fish, same story. I did manage to see one Pike in Bunny Slough, little one about 4lbs, that was it for about 4 hrs of fishing.

4/25/2012 8:10:00 AMOh, I have to strongly disagree with that statement. Pike are not native, they don't belong there and shouldn't be there. They've taken over the system and now, will never be eliminated. Where are the LMB, SMB, Perch, Browns, Rainbows, etc. what about them?
In some places in Alaska they are such a problem it's illegal to return a live Pike to the water and it could very well come to that here. Pike are exciting to catch, agreed. Pike are delicious, agreed. But, they won't coexist in the PDO, plain an simple. Eat them all.

4/25/2012 4:28:00 PMSpocanman did the Indian reservation pay you to leave this comment?You don't even know what you talking about .Back East in the Great Lakes, Pike LMB,SMB,Raibows,Walleye coexist and is not a little bit a problem with this but the Indian reservation had to spend the money they receive from government" aka" tax payers in order to receive a lot more.They don't work have full benefits from government just because long time ago they own the lands and we keep pay taxes for their lazy lifestyle.

The indisputable facts are that the little 50 mile stretch of the PDO River is not the same ecosystem, as as in your example, The Great Lakes, etc. The PDO is not the first place invaded by Northerns and won't be the last and they cannot be eliminated now that their here.
