River was high water was fast. I through every jig and every color combination of yarn and corky I had. After 6 hours of stop and go rain and couple thousand casts I was telling myself 10 more casts after 7 more casts my line stops moving and I set the hook and to my surprise it pulls back " fish on" line started zipping out it made a couple of runs then up to the bank. It was a nice little chrome 28 inch hen.

Hah! the famous "tell yourself this is the last cast"
Way to stick it out, only way you'll catch something is to have your line in the water!

I always tell myself 10 more casts then end up saying 10 more over and over again. My pic didn't load for some reason.

Hey, I've been planning to try the Reiter Ponds hole. I've heard that bobber and jig are a good bet there and was wondering what distance was your bobber from your jig?

Depends on how high the water is . You would be better off posting your question in the river forum.
