I couldn't have followed up an awesome weekend of bass fishing with out telling you guys about my buddy Austin Morris and his dad trying out my Matador Sculpins that I just sent him on some Yakima river smallies. Josh rigged up a 3.5" Smoke with a chartruse tail Matador Sculpin jig that I make at home and tossed it into a rifle not far from the mouth of the Yak when a solid thump hit his line and started burning line down stream for parts unknown! Joshie put some serious pressure on that fish as it jumped 3 feet in the air trying to spit the hook! After what seemed like an eternity, Joshe"s son Austin netted the brute. They weighed it (over 6 pounds on a spring scale)and then stunned pair posed for pics. This was by far Joshe's biggest bass ever and on his first cast with my lure! Josh let Austin release that big girl back to fight again. Thanks brothers for field testing my sculpins for me! Tight lines....Jiggy

Ha! Posted my reply before looking at this one. Good job! Nice fish! Smallmouth sure love those things. Near Washougal or closer to Prosser? Not asking exact spot. You're brighter than that!
Okay, can't pass it up. I've never tossed a lure into a rifle before. Must be a good technique. Was the safety on? I know it must be riffle. I hope.
Great report!
