location was actually in post falls at Quemlin park, went out in my lil pontoon fishing tube.Fished under the spokane street bridge, started out with the baitcaster tossing 4.5" purple/blue flake gulp turtle back worms with a 3/0 worm hook, was getting tons of bites but no hook up, figured they were small dinks. switched out the 3/0 for a 2/0 hook started hooking up with some smallies, my huntch was right they were small biggest @ 10" all were released

took a short afternoon break to play with the family and bbq

took another shot at fishing with the fly rod with some slow sinking line dropping at 2.5" per sec according to the box lol had a gold bead head fly on prince??? not to sure what it was called but boy was it working lol, hooked up with a few more smallies, and missed a ton of bites

all in all it was a good day,good times with family and still was able to sneak in some fishing ;-)
