Had a family BBQ in Enumclaw so I convinced my wife to give me an hour on the river on the way. Packed my daughter's tricycle and my wife threw in her skates and went down to the 5th St bridge so they could hit the river trail. Got there about 3pm and drifted eggs and corky/yarn until 4:30. No bumps, no hits, no rolls, nothing. There were 6 or 7 others along the banks that I could see, the ones I talked to hadn't seen anything and I didn't see anyone else have any action while I was there either. Wish I knew this river better, every year I think I might get down and scout it out, but stuff always comes up. The water chocolate milk, so visability was nil. But hey, at least I got to wet a line for a bit!
