Guided for the first time this fall salmon season today, and it was a success, i was worried because the fish had just started, but it was nice and cool, about 45 degrees last night, and a great push of fish came upriver into my holes, they were blasting up the rapids right below us and coming into my holes for the first hour of light, all sea liced up, chrome fresh kings, had the holes to ourselves, ended up hooking about 15 kings in 3 hours and limited on fish in the low to high teen's. Float fishing with one split shot and fire cured red color roe, they were really aggressive early in the morning but stayed consistant with biting throughout the morning.
