Went to the puke again today. Been slow the last two times I've been there, didn't report the last one cause there was nothing to report! Took a buddy today I used to be in the army with for his first salmon fishing experience, I went 1/2 and he went 0/1 got there at 7am and it was packed as usual by the soccer fields. Left around 3 and it seemed the bite was picking up pretty good saw 4 pulled in as we were leaving. I had just had enough with disrespectful fishing and arrogant a holes not keeping with the casting flow... Overall decent day, I believe I got him hooked on salmon fishing. Gave him my king since he doesn't have the opportunities to fish as much as I do... Does anybody know when the actual run begins/ends? I keep hearing the end of the month is when it should be in then I hear after the rain about a week and it's done for the puke?

It depends on wether you're fishing the upper, or lower river....
The upper river, or carbon should have more kings, and the lower river is filling up with silvers

I fish the puyallup till the end of December. A run coho, b run coho, then chum
