Tough day on the Duwamish, got there around 7:00 Am and tried the same thing everyone else is using,a large spinner/jig. but after about an hour and a half I noticed that even though fish were rolling everywhere no one was getting a hit. So I decided to take a risk and gamble some of the last of my eggs under a float; and first cast huge huge hook set, and fish on. But only for a few seconds as this salmon took my gear and headed upriver. I lost the last of my homemade eggs and my last float. After this disaster I had to keep fishing with a blufox spinner and saw only one guy catch anything and it was snagged so he was responsible and let the fish go. i think i will try again next weekend mabye with the canone since the water movement in this river is so slow.
