Tried the Green again today by the Fam Fun Center fished the entire incoming tide. lost 1 cast master, 1 D.K. spoon, and a whole lot of faith that this river is ever going to be productive for me. in 6 hours I saw 3 fish jump, all small. No bites. I'm already in the doghouse for taking off the time from work to go fishing and now the the dog wont let me in because of the skunk all over me

Ack Salmonlander, that is probably a common shared nightmare among us family guys- going out and getting blanked while losing gear more than a couple times. My home boss always rationalizes how much time and $ spent (and 'quality time' at home with wife and kid, she always has me on that one) vs how much fish brought home. I personally dislike the bringing fish home pressure part but can understand the spend time at home with daughter before work part.

One thing I noticed yesterday- I spent 5 minutes in one spot with no jumpers. I then moved quickly without much time and found a spot where there were a few jumpers (maybe 100 yards downriver) and wiggled my way down to there to set up shop. If you are not seeing any fish and aren't getting hookups, personally I would move a little bit (not a lot necessarily unless you have a lot of time).

Another bonus plan is if you get the fish, offer it up to your wife to give to a friend of hers or let her prepare it how she wants (or even better if you know how to prepare it a way she loves do that so she doesn't have to sweat the cooking part) :-)
I don't get smoked salmon until probably #3 or 4 gets punched LOL (that's the game I'm in for with salmon-smoked).

Wishing you better luck the next time out and IMO aim for shady slower (deeper) moving spots if you can't afford losing more gear and there are some shaded spots in the main channel. If you can afford losing gear, throw at the junk :-) I'm too cheap for that.

"Shady slower deeper" = Key on the green right now. The water is warm, the sun is out. These fish are hunting deep "cooler" water that is not in the sun. If you walk over the bridges and watch them move you can see them basically eddy hop targeting deep cool water.
