Went fishing this morning , got on the lake about 8am . I anchored up in my favorite spot on the North end of the lake across from boyscout camp . I baited up with a slip sinker and gomagatsu hook with about 18 inchs of leader . witin 5-8 minutes had my limit ranging from 14 to 17 inchs ,all bows . Threw back three and put out the leaded line and a half gold half silver dicknite . I put out 1 1/2 colors of leaded with about 50 feet of 4 pound test , whamoooooo. Took in 8 more all bows except for 3 cuts . I also trolled a black woolley bugger and came up with nothing . Orange power bait is the key right now , light green will produce also , but not as fast .P.S. the dock at the public boat launch is gone . If you have a big boat you can launch at the state park . max 10 hp motor .
