So here is the scoop. The fish are spooked and I know why now. There are just a lot more people fishing, netting, snagging and messing with them. I went do to my honey hole today only to find 2 other guys down there. Only one was fishing but he just had a weighted treble hook on his pole and was just doing the standard yank n gank. As soon as I showed up both of them acted like they were done and left. Yea right...

Regardless I fished this morning for 1 hour. I figured that I leave today for my trip and it would be foolish to not sneak in my very last possible day. So boys have fun this weekend if the nets are out!

Today was a special day, my wife asked me for a single fish, while I am gone she invited her girlfriend/mommyfriends over and a couple are from Alaska so she wanted to impress them with a truely fresh fish. Hesitantly I obliged ... yea right I was out of the door at 6am upon the words "do you think you could..."

Back to the day, I will make this quick because most folks don't really care about all my silly antics and side thoughts. 3 fish were caught, 1 was missed and 1 was bonked. A nice fat hen got the bonkin. First Fish was on a Jig, the Fashorexia, second was on a spinner #4 bronze. 3rd was missed on a jig, super light bite. 4th was taken out on the bruised hooker.

For those that sent me PMs I put up a few Youtubes on the jigs I use. It is a cellphone recording so I apologize for the lack of professional dialoge, recording quality and narration.

Done a few days ago. Sponsored by Tanqueray and Tonic.

Recorded last night. Sponsored by Stone Anniversary IPA

Enjoy.

Wow, again, way to make it happen. Wish I could produce "on demand" like that! My wife would probably be more tolerant of my fishing wishes! lol. Right now she says, "Why do you want to go fishing? You never bring anything home and you just get frustrated!" Guess I can't blame her. Thanks for taking the time to make the videos.

I love it...Jigs for Jesus on YouTube. You are palmering marabou instead of hackle. I enjoy your reports!

Way to represent with the car seat in the background! Nice job running thru a quick jig tie. Nothing like a quality sipping beer (or beverage) from the bottle to vacuum up all the loose marabou and clippings too :-) Wow, it is weird looking at someone tying from a conventional vice since I was lucky and spoiled decades ago with a Norvise (can keep the hands out of the way and just spin it up).
I like the way you present a nice uneven krystal flash tie in too. just clip a couple of those last hangers but otherwise let her ride. Excellent commentary on the 'bou too. I need to get out and get some better tying materials for next year LOL. Nice job adding some extra info (entertaining I might add) into a report!!

I finally sat still in one spot long enough to watch the videos and I must say, entertained and enlightened. I'm going to give this pong show a whack tomorrow & see what shakes out... Wish me luck! Do you get your supplies around here or online? Thanks for posting!!
