Took a client up to the south fork nooksack today, the water is SUPER WAY INCREDIBLE low and nothing like last years opener, last year there were thousands of fish up in the river, now its barely flowing and barely worth fishing, we walked a few miles of river and saw a few fish, thats it, finally we came to the only hole i saw all day that i could not see bottom at, and it had some fish holding, nothing on fire but finally we found a few fish, caught on small spoons and spinners, had to downsize to little stuff to get biters, but we caught some fish, this river will fill with coho after a rain but it is SUPER tough right now, good thing i had scouted it early and found this deep pool!
