Met up with Gringo Pescador for a shot at river coho. Seemed like ideal conditions - nice, sunny day, HT at 12:30 so we could fish the incoming flow of fish.
The morning we tossed spinners and spoons for about an hour at lots of jumping fish, none of which had any interest in what we had to offer. So from 9:30 to 1pm we trollled plugs and spin/glows with eggs. Nothing. And no one else, save one lucky boat that caught one unlucky coho had any luck.
At HT the fish again started rolling. Again, we couldn't get them to bite. Seals did pretty good. We saw at least a half dozen just below the town of Snohomish.
Doing my part to conserve the resource today... :-)
