After fishing in the evening on Thursday (10/04/2012) I had to bring myself to this short hike in and out on this beautiful stretch of river. There are literally fish jumping everywhere and every 10 seconds, LITERALLY. Amazing. There are some chromers still in there, once this rain comes these fish are going to spread everywhere.

Got to my spot Sunday afternoon after watching couple of football games, was there within 15 minutes and hooked into a bright silver, foul hook so back it went while still in the water. Fished for another couple of hours, got a solid bite from a nice ho in the mouth. Guys over to the left of me were able to let me use their net to help land the fish, thank you to whomever you are. Fished marked, last cast bird nest, time to call it a day, dreaded hike up that hill on a hot day in October to the parking lot. I can't complain with not smelling like skunk going home.
