So this place is a secret to everyone. my father showed me this place when i was a teenager (caught 3 brown trout in 2 hrs) so this fall decided to try it out....so drive past mineral lake on mineral lake rd until it ends. you'll see a trail straight ahead. it'll take you to a railroad trestle and the creek widens up and gets real deep. the trout seem to just pile up in that pool. The crappy part is there are logs laying in the water and you get snagged a few times its hard not to. there is one that lays right in the middle so you might have to try other angle or fish from the other side. nice clear water so be careful not to make to much movement or you'll scare the fish. I caught an 8" rainbow and a 14" sockeye. (he was an old man) i used many lures and spoons but found the good ol' worm works best. I hear about a guy who fly fishes that spot as well. Its a great spot you are guaranteed a fish every time. I've seen trout in there almost 18". there are browns and rainbows. maybe some brook too.
