Had to go out today because i'll be out hunting this weekend and won't be here for the rain. Alarm went off at 5 and snoozed to about 5:20. Left at 6 and was at the river fishing by 7. Started off twitchin a jig that i had tied up last night and had no takers on that. Switched to float and eggs and nothin on that. So about 10 i packed up and moved further down river and 2 casts later with float and eggs BOBBER DOWN. Set the hook, Oh yea fish. Played it for a minute because i didn't have a net then as he calmed down i grabbed him and brought him to land. A nice chrome buck is put on the stringer. Finished writing it down on my card and another couple casts later another bobber down but it turned out to be a jack so i let it go and didn't get anything else after that. 12 I ran out of eggs and was happy going home with 1. I was at bob heirman park and only saw 1 other legally hooked fish on a blue fox spinner. Also how early do you guys get out there because i always thought i was early but i get there and the parking lot is full.
