SO I was inspired by Bent Rod's reports lately (good job on the morning catch by the way!) and decided to bring my gear to work with me to make a quick run at lunch time.
The tide was coming in as was lots of debris. I decided to try my hand at twitchin jigs. I have never tried it before but that was true with all means of fishing at one time. I only brought a couple with me black/chartreuse and pink/purple.
I was not able to twitch my way into the mouth of anything. I do believe it may be due to lack of experience with jigs though. At one point I was board and watching the ducks come and go as my line was dropping. Well of course thats when something happens right? It wasnt much but it definitely wasnt the same line drop Id been having, it was a definite "twitch" back if that makes since? lol
Another time I couldnt tell if it was a rock or a dorsal fin by mistake. No scales so who knows. These swimming rock fish are tricky!
All in all it was a break in the routine at work so it wasnt horrible.
Tight lines
