So I will make this short, I am trying to figure out a way to video from my phone while fishing but it does not work too well....
See what I mean. I think I might start using my little whitewater river camera so I can record some of the chummers.
Here is the report.
Hit the green yesterday at around 1:30 I think. Ran into a fellow wa laker. It was dead as a door nail up around 212th. So I took off, Got a bit more work done and then hit it again at 4:30. Like clock work they showed up.
I started with 2 rosey coho, one was more rosey than the other, did not see much chrome, here and there but it did not matter, I was after something else!!! The chum. Oh and they are here dudes and dudettes let the fun begin!!!!
So I put away my silver set and broke into my box of treats for the chum zingers. Chum were running through pretty heavy, I caught and banked 3 with the biggest being at least in that 14-16lb range. I thought about taking a few photos but it was raining and honestly for some reason (although I wish chum would not propagate the whole river like the demon spawn they are) I don't like handling fish more than needed, and it seemed lame to try figure something out while I was holding this large fish in the river which was tired and giving me the idea that he would really prefer to leave....
All in all it was a great night. I could honestly rate it a 5 since it was so much action and since the big boy was so stinkin big, but it was chum after all and those dirty dogs will never get a 5 from me.
Pic of some Chum Jigs that I like, Oh and a steelhead jig I tied up since I am getting ready for the winter runs.
