Fished Thomas Eddy from the Wildlife Reserve side for a couple of hours on Sunday. Drifted eggs under a bobber, bobber and jig...I even tossed a fly around. Skunked. Not even a nibble. Are fish hanging out this low in the system or should I be targeting further up near Sultan?

I've ran into a few folks between Sultan Mouth and just up from Wallace confluence catch in last week...maybe try up around there...

I was fishing across from the Wallace last weekend and couldn't keep Chum off my jig. I focused on Thomas Eddy mostly because it was 2 minutes down the road from where I was staying. I was hoping for some steelies but was sadly disappointed. My ideology is that they're all heading for Reiter so at some point fish there should be hanging in that area, right? Do they hangout in the system or head straight for the hatchery?

They usually blast through there, but now is the time to start intercepting the snoqualmie & sky steelies in the snoho. Jig, bobber, & shrimp.

The Thomas eddy area can be good when the water level is running about 4000 cfs and plunking would be the tactic of choice.... I'm not a plunker but sometimes it's nice to have your coffee, whiskey and just kick back waiting for the bell to ring.... Sultan or above would be my choice for drifting....
