Gringo Pescador and I drifted the Sky from Sultan to Monroe. With the river flow at 6,500 CFS starting the day it was a fast drift, done by 2pm.

We did find some fishy looking water and Gringo had one on off of a jig under a float, but otherwise it was dead slow. Tried jigs, spinners, spoons, and pulling plugs (where it was feasible).

A nice day none the less and tomorrow the river should be prime condition, and the weather is still holding. If you have a chance I say "go for it!"! River is now at 5,690 CFS and dropping.

Shout out to Crabby River Guide Service... you must have missed your morning coffee, LOL.

Thanks for the report. was figuring the Sky-system should be chilling down from USGS data. Huh, fish or ski, ski AND fish...

Can you believe it, I put spf 100 sunblock on before leaving the house, heavy fog until noon - off the river by 2, and I am sunburned... It was a nice float, hopefully next time we can see it.

They are in there Mike, I think they are running late though and are adapting to the colder water..
