Well decided to fish the old slot at the Lewis st. Bridge area, what a day! We got there at abot 530 AM. Started out throwing a fire orange triple teaser, 3rd cast fish on! With the nasty current in the slot it made a very rough fight! Ended up with a fish on the bank after about a 13 minute battle! 11lb winter run. My friend was throwing out a blue and gold rattling fat rapala, he ended up going 2 for 3 on the day. 1 hen, 1 buck, both around 8lbs. The real kicker came when I threw on the old trusty kast master, blue/silver, about 30mins later ended up with a nasty fighting 14lb hatchery buck! Today was a great day of fishing, will be going to the ole' honey hole again soon enough! There is always places much better than reiter, plus you don't have to deal with the clowns!
