Fished lower Flaming Geyser for about an hour or so. New to this particular spot so I wasn't expecting much to begin with, but the water looked too "steelie" to pass up. Floated a jig. No luck but it sure was beautiful. Cleared up right as I was pulling my gear on and continued until I had to hit the road. What are my chances of actually hooking into something this far up? Am I better off focusing Soos Creek area?

When fishing the green for Steel I usually go even further up then Flaming Geyser. Lots of walking in and out of canyons tho. Also i have been told that there are some great spots on the up river side of Flaming Geyser, behind and up riv er from the crappers.

I was thinking of trying the green too. I have not landed my first steelie yet, but lost one this summer (when it jumped). Is anyone willing to share any spots?

I meant to say that I lost it when it jumped.
