Spent the morning Wednesday at the snoqualmie, saw a total of three pulled out, one at the big eddy and two down around the corner at the tailout. Fished 8am to 1pm.
Today we got to the sky around 2pm up at reiter. Talked to a guy walking out that said he saw about 5 pulled out, said it was slow. But considering last time we were there, which we saw a total of none pulled out, I was feeling pretty optimistic. Water was beautiful, low, and crystal clear, could see the bottom all the way across. Started with a small light pink jig and float and covered ever inch of water from up above the ponds around the corner to the rapids. Then a guy comes down and fishes the seam along side the big rock and immediately hooks into a beautiful hen, which breaks off just feet from us. A few casts later he hooks into another fish, this one bigger.this one breaks off also, he was playing them really lightly, forgot to ask him what brand of line, so I could stay away from it. I had just fished that seam really thoroughly without a hit so I was a little bewildered . He mentioned he was using an orange and white jig. Another guy shows up and immediately hooks up in the same spot using a pink and white jig. Shucks. That was the only fish action of the day that we saw. Fished til dark. Seems like reiter is starting to see a bit more action. Cant wait to go out again.
