Had hoped to hit the river in the AM, but due to parenthood I didn't get on the water until noon and only had two hours to throw my line. Fished the big eddy. Sounded like there was some action in the AM, but had slowed down. Fished for an hour out in the middle floating various colored jigs. No action, so moved up to the Tokul mouth since many people had cleared out. The wind was really gusting, so between that, the slush falling from the sky, and the 37 degree weather I really can't blame them. Kept having to stop to thaw my fingers out in my jacket. Tried my jigs up around the mouth and out in the backwaters for a while with nothing to show except a lost jig, so headed down below the big eddy. Managed to lose another jig in the rocks. Quit at 2pm. Didn't see any fish hooked while I was there.
