After seeing the hot reports earlier in the week and really itching to get out, I finally got a chance to hit the river. Couldn't get there at day break (sigh), but at least I was able to get on the water. Hit the eddy at Tokul just before 9am. Lots of people around. I waded out to the center. From talk, it sounded like it had been very slow. I proceeded to float my jigs for the next hour-plus with nothing to show for it. Saw one fish go out that had been caught earlier, but didn't see anything hooked while I was there. Water was low an clear. I did have one take down that resulted in a nice spoon that someone had previously lost, so not a completely wasted morning, just no fish!
