Hit the Stilliguamish for the first time, this evening a couple miles down from fortson. Had my one chance at a nice steelhead on a bobber and a cloudy red bead. I was in the middle of mending my line when my bobber went down. Bad hookset got to see the fish come up and flash me, do some crazy inverted steelie somersaults and throw the hook. Shucks. Beautiful river!

I know steelhead is open up that way cause everybody is fishing there but why cant I find the dates in the reg book as to when it opened of is going to close? I looked in emergency rules etc.. even called the automated hot line. I do see where trout is open this date in the reg book?? Any tips on where to look would be greatly app or maybe I'm just reading it wrong

Thank you schu..I need to learn how to read those reg statements better. I had put steelhead in the statement about game fish which closed end of Nov i think. Kind of confusing. Oh well..thanks for the info. Hope to get up that way soon.

Thank you FF. That clears it up quite a bit, I had wondered if that was the case.
