Slept in today :) Glad I didn't have to battle the 25 degree conditions and wind this morning (thank you, Richard).

Worked Reiter from head to toe! Hooked 5 Steelies, landed 1 hatchery, released 1...

About the one I released... "snagged" spoon into something. Set hook. Something started head shaking. Something started swimming slowly up river. Here is where my though process goes array....

Thought I snagged into "something" because I could not lift this "something" with my 13' rod, so after 1 minute solid on the line, I pulled, heaved and hoed trying to get my spoon out of this thing.

I have no idea, what in the world happened during my thought process because looking back, this was the largest Steelie I have ever hooked. I won, and finally got my spoon back.

EPIC FAIL :(

More adventures to come. Tight lines!

You got it, makes it easy to cast, drift mend and hit spots other anglers can't reach :)
Sometimes, Brat Bonker!
