Been to the skook on average a couple times a week since late December and have yet to see, catch, or even get a nibble from the winter steel. Fishing with Corky, eggs, jig, spinner, you name it and still nothing... Still probably too early

I've been out there a bunch too. Word on the street is SLOW! I too have been throwing everything I can at them, floating: eggs, jigs/shrimp, yarnballs, pink worms and drifting: eggs, corkies/yarn, spoons, spinner and more. Not a single take down in 4 days fishing from 6:30am-4:30pm everyday. Some are having success, especially the plunkers on the side of the road between the fields and hatchery. I saw a couple fish pulled under the dam, but have not had any luck myself. As we get closer to march, the fish will start stacking up, but so will the anglers. Been pretty busy every day that I have been there, and will only get worse. Tight lines.
