Got to go out this morning and brought my daughter along with. she's been seeing the fish I've been bringing home and wanted to join in on the action :). We got to Reiter around 7:30am and went down to cable hole. It was just us and one other angler out there. About 45 minutes in I had a bobber down, set the hook and could feel the fish had some good size to it. It hung down low not moving too much and I was waiting for it to run. Next it takes off, peels some line out and goes airborne and the hooks slips....

We stayed out for another 2 hours or so and then headed out to money creek for some camping. The only consolation is we'll be fishing tomorrow morning and my daughters really excited still and had fun today. unfortunately since the water was low she couldn't quite cast to the deeper water and kept getting hung up on rocks. We went through quite a bit of gear.

Water is getting lower and clearer, an angler across the way also lost one on a spoon and I heard one other guy got one toward the hatchery.
