Wow. The Skykomish is at my all time favorite stage. Low and clear! And there are TONS of fish in it. The bite has been great, when the sun comes out, that's when you really need to have what it takes to catch them, but we've been catching them.

We've been fishing all over, and finding nice bright fish throughout the system. It depends on their mood what they're biting, but I have a few tricks up my sleeve that have been bringing the fish out for a meal. Light tackle, natural presentations and good looking baits are key right now.

There hasn't been a better time to learn to steelhead then now. If you've been wanting to catch that first steelhead, now is the time, give me a call and we'll set you up on a fishy day. Multi fish days have been the norm, it's not easy, but the river has been very good to us.
