Fished yesterday in my new to me boat. Mainly just wanted to get the boat out and practice loading and unloading, but of course wanted to catch a few. Bottom line, still early. Did not see a fish surface, roll, or jump the entire night. Launched in Snohomish and drifted way down below hwy 9. Four of us fishing....not a single hit the 4 hours we were out.
On Sunday evening around 6pm while walking with the wife, I watched a couple of shore anglers who had no idea what they were doing hook 2 as a school moved through. One of the guys was using nightcrawlers for bait.....Those are the only fish I have seen fishing at least two nights a week for the last 2 weeks.
