Fished from 5 to 9 this morning at Thomas' Eddy. One word to describe it? Comedy hour! Guys freaking out because I don't cast straight, when in fact your supposed cast slightly upstream, and when I do start casting straight, the guy casts right over me. And he kept swearing to me under his breath. Oh and the lets not forget the 7 boats that came to launch exactly where I was fishing, I was cool with it if they were in and out quick, but some of these guys would put their boats in the water and just hang around in my fishing spot, swearing, telling stories, talking about the jerks at their jobs, for like 15 MINUTES! And last but definitely not least, the "geniuses" that decided to come and wade exactly where the fish were holding and were smack dab in the middle of the fish, not letting us cast. I think that one was my favorite. Any ways aside the annoyances I went 0/7 and my dad went 1/1 go figure. My dad got a nice 7 1/2 pound buck! And right as we were going to leave too. Lots of people were hooking up fairly consistently, catching about a fish every 20 minutes, until a school went through then it went bezerk!
