Fishing for pinks is on fire on the snoho! C&R about 8-10 pinks today from the bank. All of them on jigs and one on a spoon. Lost about 3 fish. One fish was so strong I thought my rod was gonna snap right before my eyes. I could barely hold on to the thing. I knew ethier my 10lb test was gonna give away or the rod was gonna snap in half. I had the fish right at the bank and it darted right under some logs and my line snapped, and lost the jig in the fishes mouth. I'm no expert salmon angler by any means but who know knows what kind of fish it was. I have caught lots of pinks during the seasons and no pink but up a fight like that. I wish I could have seen what it was but the water was so damn muddy. Oh well. I wish I could get another battle like that again. Pure fun!
