Finally made it out again, three days off the river and I start to go crazy. My buddy decided since it was pouring this morning that he would forget about fishing. A couple phone calls later I convinced him to head out. I launched from edgewater and decided to run up and plunk for silvers while I waited for him. Got the spinner out and within 5min had a solid takedown that ended up spitting the hook as I was trying to net it, looked to be in the 10lb range. Just broke my heart, there is always tomorrow tho. After that I went down and picked up my buddy waiting at the launch. We decided to go down to the north fork for the incoming to C&R on some pinks. There were 7 drift netters having there way the river as we went down. At the forks about every other boat had someone fighting a fish so we started to get real excited to hook into some fish. Got to my spot and started flinging jigs everywhere. There was fish jumping all over the place. We had non stop action for a couple hours until he had enough and had to go pick up his old lady from work. He hooked 18 and I got 23. Things are starting to heat up. Good luck out there.
