Man, I'm having flashbacks to last season. I've stopped by 112th every morning this week and last Friday. Spent about 30-45 minutes fishing each trip, so cumulatively I've got about 3+ hours in over six days. In that time I've managed to go 0/1 with zero other hits. Maybe it's timing, but I thought I might see a little more action than that. Fortunately I don't see many other people hooking up while there (different than my introduction to Coho on the Duamish last year), so don't think it's my offering or presentation....to a degree, but have heard "You should have been here earlier!" or "You should have seen it last night!" a couple of times. Still waiting to be in the right spot at the right time I guess.
I thought this morning might be the one. Got there just before low tide. Plenty of surface action. Lots of people fishing. Saw a couple hooked and landed, but really not much else to speak of. Water color was pretty fair for all the rain we had last night. Thought it be a little more milky.
